We are pleased to introduce ourselves as a premier photography studio dealing in camera accessories, studio indoors & outdoor photography services, colour printouts, photography printing service, framing and lamination, digital albums, and other photographic equipments and services.
During 1987, under the able guidance of Mr. Jamal Miran, our first Apollo Digital Lab & Studio (P) Ltd was launched in India in Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and carved a niche in the photography market having eleven branches at Nungambakkam, AnnaNagar, Kellys, Pallavaram, Tirunelveli, Palayamkottai, Kodaikanal, Kodambakkam, Spencer Plaza, Tirunelveli Jn, Murugankuruchi and Villipuram.
Apollo Studio & Stores- The Parent Company
The Apollo Studio & Stores made a humble beginning more than three decades back in 1971, and gradually developed itself as a powerful name in photography world. Today it stands proudly as one of the largest photographic chains in the entire Gulf operating its business from a office through over 175 Konica Photo Express Outlets and a wide dealer network of over 500 Apollo’s distributions. Backed by state of the art processing facilities, the company established its position in the competitive competition of the Gulf Photographic market. The friendly ‘Smiley’ logo has become a household name not only in the U.A.E. but also in Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
The showroom was opened in Bur Dubai by the founder of the company the Late Syed Jamal in association with Col. Ibrahim Murad and Mr. Jamal Miran. The main objective of the company was to popularize photography and to satisfy the photographic needs of the people of the U.A.E. Under the able guidance of Mr. Jamal Miran, Managing Director, Mr. Amir Jamal and Col. Ibrahim Murad the other two Directors of the Company, the studio has consistently grown and today proudly represents U.A.E. Konica Corporation for its cameras, photographic paper, chemicals, color films and NPS Mini Labs for film processing. It also represents National Panasonics for its wide range of cameras, flashes and batteries.
